now stopped, are referred to as "recovering
alcoholics".
Recovering alcoholics can lead healthy,
happy and productive lives.
The first step on the road to recovery
is to admit that they have a problem and
then to look for help. Lots of people
feel alone when they know someone who
is suffering.
