Legal Status
Under schedule 1 of the Misuse of Drugs
Act; it is an offence to possess, produce
and supply these drugs.
Short-term effects
Effects peak between 1-4 hours after taking
and fade after 12 hours. Major perceptual
distortions common but usually known to
be unreal. Hallucinations and usually temporary
psychotic episodes possible. Flashbacks
(re-experiencing a small part of the ‘trip’
later) possible but rare.
Long-term effects
Again flashbacks are very rare. Prolonged
psychotic episodes occur rarely, usually
in predisposed individuals. No significant
physical damage. No physical dependence.
Further doses are ineffective after 3-4
days use.

Method of use
Drug ingested orally in various forms: paper,
squares, pills, tablets etc.
